As Construction Associate, Teresa Chambers supports the Senior Vice President / Construction Partner where she manages all administrative functions for ArchCo’s construction department. In this role, Ms. Chambers oversees the construction draw process, including invoice processing, change order routing and pay application submittal.  In addition, Ms. Chambers also acts as a liaison between ArchCo and local municipalities, ensuring an efficient project planning, permitting, and utility set-up process. She is in constant contact with all construction-related vendors, including the project’s general contractor, architect and engineers.

Ms. Chambers joined ArchCo Residential after spending nearly four years as the Assistant Controller/Human Resources Manager of Cambridge Swinerton Builders, Inc. As Assistant Controller, she was responsible for all aspects of human resources management, including payroll and employee insurance.  Ms. Chambers also assisted with such accounting functions as cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost, and corporate contracts.

In 2000, Ms. Chambers joined Archstone where she spent 13 years as the Production Associate for the East Region Investments/Production supporting the Senior Vice President and 12 Production Managers. She managed all administrative functions of the construction department for the Company’s east region. In addition to processing multi-million dollar construction draws, she established standard practices for the four other regional offices that reported to her. Upon the sale of development property, Ms. Chambers worked alongside the company’s Acquisitions and Dispositions Group to ensure that documents were successfully organized and transferred to the new owner. At the end of Ms. Chambers’ tenure at Archstone, the East Region was responsible for 34 construction projects comprising nearly 11,000 luxury apartment units. 

Ms. Chambers began her career in Germany where her husband was stationed while serving in the United States Army.  During his subsequent military assignments, Ms. Chambers held various positions with the U.S. Government and government contractors.
